Our mission is to be at the heart of our customer’s skiing experience and to exceed their expectations every time they visit us. We’ve been doing this since 1955, making each year better than the last. Working at Alpine Sports will also raise your expectations of a great shopping experience. Our customer’s experience at Alpine Sports is what we’re all about. Our goal is to provide the most exceptional shopping experience possible. We want to exceed the customer’s expectations. Not only with awesome new gear and clothing, but also by sharing new trends & possibilities, and having experienced staff that tests, uses, and knows the gear. Our employees are athletic outdoor enthusiasts who work hard to set goals and achieve success, in both their professional and personal lives. Our employees are avid skiers and snowboarders. They spend their days off in the mountains, searching for powder stashes, ripping up groomers, and polishing their park skills. Even our owner is a former professional mogul skier, and our founder was a national ski champion. Simply put, we work hard to play hard. This is our lifestyle and we live it.
Our work environment requires people that work well together as a team, while at the same time individually expressing their personal style and suggestions. Because we’ve been in this location since we opened a half-century ago, we’re proud to have four generations of customers whose families’ depend on our staff’s knowledge and enthusiasm. We’re located in Ogden just off Harrison Blvd, close to Weber State and not far from downtown Ogden. We are a tight-knit but flexible team of around 20. We always have an eye on the latest styles and trends, be we lean on our decades of shared ski-industry history to help keep it real. We love the outdoors, love gear, and are committed to keeping Alpine Sports the most exceptional ski shop around.
Are you up for the challenge?
We’re open during the winter ski season, and closed in the summer. We hire sales and rental staff in the fall, and you’ll work through to spring. Employees enjoy flexible work hours, a nice employee discount on gear and clothing, and the opportunity to work and hit the snow with some truly great co-workers. Learning has never been so much fun, and in the first month you’ll learn so much you wonder how it all fits in your brain. Knowledge never hurt so good.

Our interviews are interactive; we expect you to tell us about yourself. We want to know about past jobs, school projects & successes, even sports or team accomplishments, and how these experiences are a benefit to the position to which you’re applying.
